The first in our series of interactive nursing simulations, Painless is designed to help students learn about pain medication. Students find themselves in charge of caring for a post-op cancer patient -- administering, adjusting and monitoring his medication. The simluation provides a notebook to record medications and vital statistics, a chart with doctor's orders, and a "hotline" to an advice nurse. Students are able to observe the effects of pain medications over time.
