IDEA Online

Idea Online web page

IDEA Online is a service provided by the Interface Design Evaluation & Assessment (IDEA) Group. This group was established through the generous support of a TIGERS Grant from the Community of Academic Technology Staff (CATS).

IDEA Online is both a community and a resource. It is designed for academic technology staff who create websites, multimedia applications, software, and the like. Designers submit their projects to the site for heuristic evaluation. Volunteer evaluators assess the designs for usability and prepare reports for the designers.

Since it is a cooperative effort, members are usually both designers and evaluators. IDEA Online is freely available to anyone.
